This explains what information Phronia Counsel collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect little.
Who we are.
Phronia Counsel LLC is an independent technology analyst and advisory firm based in Parker, Colorado. For any question about your information, write to howard@phronia.co.
What we collect.
- Information you give us. When you email us, request a briefing, or become a client, we collect what you send: your name, your email address, your company, and the substance of your message.
- Client portal data. Clients with portal access have an account (name, email, and a hashed password) and the documents, comments, and files exchanged through it.
- Basic technical data. Our servers keep standard logs, such as IP address and browser type, to operate and secure the site. Our public pages load fonts from Google, which receives that request as part of serving them.
What we do with it.
We use your information to respond to you, to deliver and improve our work, to operate the client portal, and to keep our systems secure. That is the whole list.
What we do not do.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We rely on a small number of service providers, for hosting and for sending email, who process data only to provide those services to us.
Cookies.
The client portal uses essential cookies to keep you signed in. Our public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices and rights.
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of any non-essential use. Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and we honor equivalent requests from everyone. To make a request, write to howard@phronia.co.
Retention and security.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, and we protect it with reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat client and contact data as confidential.
Changes.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and we will note material changes on this page.
